Mark and Ingrid

Welcome to our site!
We are Mark Dawson and Ingrid Spiegl; we have recently acquired Maison Mûrier and we are very much looking forward to our new venture. We loved this pretty house the moment we set eyes on it, and we hope you will too. We look forward to welcoming back previous guests and all who visit us for the first time this year.
Maison Mûrier is available to rent throughout the year, A wonderfully secluded location, yet within easy reach of shops and sightseeing opportunities
Maison Mûrier is named after the magnificent mulberry tree on the property.
This beautiful 5-bedroomed holiday home is a converted 200-year old farmhouse. It sleeps 11 and is delightfully set, hidden away amidst fields of sunflowers, vines and corn, in the hamlet of Palisse in the Dordogne.
Set in an acre of land, with its own private swimming pool, Maison Mûrier is surrounded by gardens that are abundant with mulberries, plums, peaches, apples, pears, figs and even walnuts. In addition, you will discover an array of seasonal flowers such as lavender, lilac, roses and irises. The house boasts wonderful views across the fields and valley. A south west facing covered patio provides a shaded eating area, whilst the pool area and sundeck provide glorious all day sunshine. Stunning sunsets all year round!
