Maison Mûrier is situated in the hamlet of Palisse in the Dordogne only a few kilometers from the Charente border.
We are approximately 10 km from the market town of Riberac and 7 km from Aubeterre-sur-Dronne which has been officially listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France since 1993.

Situated just 50 mins from the N10/A10 to the north and a similar time to the A89 in the south, Maison Mûrier is easily accessible by road from all directions. If heading to Maison Murier from the northern ports, an indication of driving times is shown in the Ferry panel.

The nearest TGV (high-speed train) station is Angouleme. (50 mins drive) The new LGV Sud Europe Atlantique takes only 1hr 40mins from Paris to Angouleme so it’s possible to get to London in around 5 hours!!!
There is also a train station at Chalais ( 20 mins drive)
